The Community Chaplain Corp is structured as a ministry rather than a 501c3. All donations will receive a letter of donation at the end of the year for tax purposes.A church / ministry is not required to be a “nonprofit charitable organization” to be tax deductible, nor does it need IRS authorization to be tax deductible. According to the IRS, churches / ministries have that status “automatically.” Individuals are encouraged to speak with tax professionals regarding any tax deductions and giving to any organization including the Community Chaplain Corp of Together Fellowship.
